A man with wavy hair and a beard, wearing a white shirt with sunglasses hanging from the front, sitting outdoors near leafy trees and plants, during dusk or evening.

I am a designer/builder/artist/schemer with experience working in a wide range of geographies—from the far North of the Yukon, both coasts of the country, on the expanse of the prairies. I make space for projects that address housing needs, prize craftsmanship, and advocate for community and environmental concerns.

Having started in the construction trade as a teenager with “Klok Construction” in Southern Alberta, I’ve spent time working in most every facet of the industry over the last two decades, going from wheelbarrowing concrete to interning in an architecture office during University, then starting up my own design/build practice in the North. My portfolio includes houses, cabins, recording studios, saunas, and sculptural installations, as well as design work that runs the gamut from leather bags to furniture to cowboy boots.  I also have a track record of success writing grants for affordable housing projects, business startups, music recording, and visual art work.

I continue to make time to keep writing and playing music while maintaining regular conversations and collaborations with friends, artists, and builders in which we conceptualize and construct localized utopias.

If you ever want to discuss a project that feels aligned with my work, please drop me a line!
